Trump is a grave threat to our nation, and the weak Democratic response on the left is sending a chilling message to the world.

First, Trump is a man of very weak character. He uses payoffs and intimidation to silence critics. and manipulates in order to increase his perceived status.

Business
Trump set a dark tone when he pardoned a man for contempt of court, undermining the court itself. Especially when that man was a law enforcement official who had violated the constitutional rights of Americans of Latino Descent as well as violating the human rights of people within his tent city.
Trump is dangerously ignorant of world affairs. This is especially dangerous combined with his tendency to trust his instincts over expertise.
Trump’s fiscal policy is a risky bet with a likely failure and potential for triggering a recession or worse. I believe part of this is due to policies being implemented by single-minded individuals and not viewed within a larger context.
This has resulted in a deficit of over $1T a year with debt over $20T. If this results in collapse, his priority will be on redirecting blame.
President Trump reacted negatively to the Special Counsel’s appointment. He told advisors that it was the end of his presidency, sought to have Attorney General Jefferson (Jeff) Sessions unrecuse from the Russia investigation and to have the Special Counsel removed, and engaged in efforts to curtail the Special Counsel’s investigation and prevent the disclosure of evidence to it, including through public and private contacts with potential witnesses. Trump is a criminal in so many ways. Here are a few highlights.
My biggest concern is far harder to swallow for most. In my opinion, Donald Trump shares disturbing similarities with Benito Mussolini, and his election reflects a similar angry disenfranchised nationalistic support base that brought Mussolini into power.
Donald Trump is additionally a Sexist and a Sexual Predator. Treating women as objects.
Tying back to part 5, this is quite common in Fascism.
Under fascist regimes women were urged to perform their traditional gender role as wives and mothers and to bear many children for the nation. Mussolini instituted policies severely restricting women’s access to jobs outside the home (policies that later had to be revised to meet wartime exigencies), and he distributed gold medals to mothers who produced the most children.
